Sensitive data
Some questions in Aivelyn touch on things that are especially personal. Here we explain which, why, and how you stay in control.
Last updated 24 September 2026
1. What is sensitive data?
Under the GDPR some data is specially protected, including data about religious or philosophical beliefs, sexual orientation or sex life, health and ethnic origin.
2. What sensitive data may Aivelyn process?
If you choose to answer such questions we may process: your faith or worldview, which gender you are looking for (which may reveal sexual orientation), your answers about closeness and intimacy, and health or wellbeing information you share yourself, for example in conversations with Evelyn.
All such questions are optional. You can skip them.
3. Why do we process it?
To give you self-insight, suggest matches that fit your values and wishes, and let Evelyn reflect back what you have told us.
4. Legal basis
We process sensitive data only with your explicit consent (GDPR Article 9(2)(a)), given when you create your account.
5. Who can see it?
Your exact answers are not shown to other members. Matches see a summary of how well you fit, not your individual answers. Information you choose to show on your profile is visible according to your settings.
We use processors for hosting and AI as described in the privacy policy. We never sell your data.
6. Withdrawing consent
You can change or remove your answers in the app at any time, or withdraw consent by contacting support@aivelyn.se or deleting your account. Without consent, parts of matching may not work. Withdrawal does not affect earlier processing.
7. Contact and complaints
The controller is Aivelyn Relationship Platform AB. Postal address: Varugatan 1, 931 76 Skellefteå, Sweden. Email: support@aivelyn.se. You may lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
