1. About these terms

These terms of use apply between you and Aivelyn Relationship Platform AB ("Aivelyn", "we") when you use Aivelyn's website, web app and iPhone app (the service). By creating an account you accept these terms.

2. Who can use Aivelyn

You must be at least 18, be looking for connection or a relationship in good faith, and not be legally barred from using the service. You may only have one personal account.

3. Your account

You are responsible for providing truthful information and keeping your password secret. Let us know if you suspect someone else is using your account.

You can pause or delete your account at any time in settings or via the Delete account page.

4. The service

Aivelyn consists of the free Core & Circles plus the Matchmaker and Relation services. Aivelyn helps you understand yourself, suggests matches and offers reflection support. We do not guarantee that you will find a partner or that a given match suits you.

We continuously develop the service and may change, add or remove features.

5. AI and Evelyn

Parts of the service use AI, including the AI coach Evelyn and match suggestions. AI responses support reflection – they are not therapy or medical, legal or psychological advice. In a crisis or danger, call 112 or seek care.

6. Payment

Core & Circles is free. For paid services, price and terms are shown before purchase. Purchases in the iPhone app are handled by Apple under the App Store terms and are cancelled in your Apple settings. Promo codes and free periods apply under the terms stated when issued.

7. Conduct

Be respectful. You may not harass, threaten, discriminate against, deceive or exploit others, market or sell anything, share others' data without permission, upload illegal, sexually explicit or offensive material, or impersonate anyone.

You can report and block other members in the app. We may review reports and warn, restrict or suspend accounts where needed.

8. Your content

You own what you write and upload. You give us the right to store, process and display it as needed to provide the service, for example for matching and to show your profile to other members according to your settings.

9. Personal data

How we process personal data is described in our privacy policy. Sensitive data, such as beliefs and intimacy, is processed with your explicit consent as described on the Sensitive data page.

10. Ending

You can leave at any time by deleting your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or where required by law.

11. Liability

You meet other members at your own risk. Meet new people in public places and tell someone you trust. We are not responsible for other members' conduct. Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by law; mandatory consumer rights are not affected.

12. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms and will notify you in advance of material changes. Swedish law applies. Disputes may be heard by the National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN) or a Swedish court.
